I really like quotes. Some of you who follow me on Twitter/Facebook may know that I occasionally post some of them. But today in my email, my Quotes of the day, all came from Kahlil Gibran, Who is one of my favorites. So I really wanted to share them with you. Please enjoy.

Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need.
Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you.
Keep me away from the wisdom which does not cry, the philosophy which does not laugh and the greatness which does not bow before children.
But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
When we turn to one another for counsel we reduce the number of our enemies.
If indeed you must be candid, be candid beautifully
All from Kahlil Gibran, 1883 – 1931
