Which Blogs Do I Read?

When I have free time? (hahah Good Joke!)

But, seriously. I was looking at my Google Reader today and thought, I have quite diverse group that I follow. I thought I would tell you who, and why. If you think there’s something that I’m missing the boat on, you should tell me and I’ll happily subscribe. ๐Ÿ™‚

In no particular order:

http://aletheus.blogspot.com – My friend Mark writes this blog. It’s a serious buffet for the mind. Enjoy.

http://blogan.net/blog/ – I found this blog, also through my interaction with Brent. While he doesn’t seem to understand why people would be interested, he actually posts some pretty great things. I also enjoy his tag line “Hot Air Powers The Point”

http://www.bridgetchumbley.com/ My good friend Bridget writes her blog with this simple message, “Hoping to make a difference, one word at a time” This blog provides some really uplifting thoughts and words, like she says, one word at a time. She also hosts a Blog Carnival every two weeks or so, which some of you may have noticed me participating in.

http://clarkcountyrealestateguide.com/ Written by Dale, husband of Bridget. All things related to Real Estate in Clark County, Washington (Also some nice thoughts around most everything. It’s a veritable cornucopia of useful information. Check it out!

http://mouthfeel.wordpress.com/ Written by twitter friend Ramona W. This blog provides me with my daily dose of poetry my heart needs.

http://oem-oregon.blogspot.com/ Oregon Emergency Management (Always be prepared)

http://oregonmediacentral.com/ – All things Oregon Media related. I’m a news geek and this helps me quench my thirst!

http://ourpdx.com/ Written by a flock of individual bloggers and guest authors, this blog covers quite a bit of lesser exposed Portland scenes. It is after all our PDX…

http://siliconflorist.com/ All things Portland Tech. If your interested in Tech you should already be reading this blog. If not, you’re way behind the times.

http://www.socialphototalk.com/ Written by my good friend and photographer Aaron (www.hockleyphotography.com) This blog gives the Photography community a link between what you do and the social aspects of how to use your sphere to your advantage.

http://portlandwinterhawks.wordpress.com/ The insiders guide to The Portland Winter Hawks. Portland’s very own Western Hockey League Franchise.

http://www.joshgard.com/ I ran across Josh on Twitter. But I’ve found his thoughts and experiences something worth reading. He’s also a pretty nice guy, just needs to stay out of Starbucks with his laptop.

These are some of the blogs I read regularly, I read a couple more for work, but I didn’t think you’d want to know about those. So here’s some link love to the blogging friends I’ve run across. Like I said, if you feel like I should be reading yours also, let me know. I’ll subscribe. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s really given me an opportunity to have some ideas when the well sometimes runs dry.

  3. Thanks for the link. While some of those sites look familiar, I’ll have to check out some of the others since I’m always up for new things to read.
