I received a call today from a friend.
One I’ve never met in person, though, he’s someone I have talked to for about 10 years, off and on, and we live thousands of miles apart.
At times, we’ve both been single and at separate times, we’ve been with someone else. But It’s never got to that level.
The two of us just have great conversations, which are the bulwark of a good friendship. His last relationship was quite a doozy and we hadn’t been talking much while he was in his last relationship, but it was the general ebb and flow of our conversations.
I enjoy talking to him, I think he’s a great guy. Just a moment in time passing through whatever life is pointed in his direction.
Here’s my question. Can you feel a great connection or dare I say: a bond with someone whom you’ve never met in the flesh, only over the tones of modem mating calls and through digital means?
