So recently I joined a gym.
The spending of money on a regular basis it a great motivator.
So I actually went to the gym today. I worked out. Much like High School the gym is a rather interesting place. I guess what I first noticed was the lack of judgment. It wasn’t that people weren’t looking around, but everyone has their own agenda, they’re there for their own reasons. (You’ve got to be impressed I used each of those correctly) The only real mishap was that I didn’t know how the machine (The elliptical) worked. So I asked. The guy didn’t out and out laugh at me, but I’m sure he told someone else, cause I would have.
All in all, the first day wasn’t too bad. I know what I have to work on, and I really surprised myself in my ability. Two miles in 30 minutes. Lots and lots of sweat, which was pretty gross. But it’s a good beginning. I just have to make myself go on a regular basis.
Like I said, spending money is a great motivator. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow.
One response to “Ooh. That’s going to leave a mark.”
I am seriously impressed. With your use of “they’re there” of course.
