30 Days

Yesterday, there was a small moment to celebrate that went by without mention. Why? Because I didn’t want to call attention to it. I’ve been here before. I’ve done this before. Yesterday was my 1 month mark of non-smoking, again.

I know a few of my friends are trying to quit smoking too, so that’s why I’m posting this message. I want to succeed – I want them to succeed.

Also, I wanted to gloat. I never thought I would be a runner, nor would I like to run, but Friday I had my most successful run to date. 3.5 miles – I’m not kidding. Really. It may have taken me 45 minutes but I made it.
