In the United States, today we observe Memorial Day. A day, where we thank those who have served our country for their sacrifices, sometimes even the ultimate sacrifice. Many soldiers I’ve met are dedicated and patriotic and I’m grateful for their service, for their protection of my rights and grateful for those who came home.
Without your wounds where would your power be? The very angels themselves cannot persuade the wretched and blundering children on earth as can one human being broken in the wheels of living. In love’s service, only the wounded soldiers can serve. – Thornton Wilder
To those who didn’t come home, thank you; we can never repay our debt to you.
