Today’s Practice: Be not blind

If I advocate cautious optimism it is not because I do not have faith in the future but because I do not want to encourage blind faith. – Aung San Suu Kyi

I’ve seen so many things recently where we’ve become entrenched in what we’ve heard, what our perception of things purports to be. Yet, so many of us aren’t willing to listen to any other commentary to the contrary. We used to have great discussions. I feel like those times are long gone. No longer do we have an open mind to others, we seem to only have “my side” vs. “your side.” It’s incredibly sad to see. Open your eyes, open your ears, open your heart, open your mind.

Be kind to one another.
