I am an impatient person. I hate waiting, it’s not that I hate waiting; I just hate anticipation. But, in the stillness of the morning, in the quiet, I often find my brightest ideas, so there’s something to be said about that.
You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet, still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet. – Franz Kafka
This photo was taken a few days ago, through the rain on my windshield. It seemingly captures everything I love. Rain, clouds, sunshine, and beautiful colors. A little bit of everything for the birthday boy. 🙂
This building is in Seattle. Though, you’d never know it by the reflection and the blue skies! Welcome to Pacific Northwest Summer!
I hope you’ll pardon the title. I thought I was being clever. This photo, taken the other day, was interesting to me as it seems to have every color in the spectrum in it. It caught my eye.
A great shot from the Portland Rose Festival and the signature Ferris wheel. The sun was beaming through and this shot just sort of happened. Enjoy!
There’s this awesome bell outside the Oregon Convention Center. I’ve always enjoyed it. And now that the roses around it are blooming, the sun was shining and only a few clouds in the sky it looks even better.
I went for a little drive on my lunch break down Marine Drive, next to the Columbia River. I stopped because I noticed this vast storm brewing, I couldn’t help but notice the whole scene. The Glenn Jackson Bridge is in the distance, Washington on your right, Oregon on your left.
Also, this is my 400th post.
