I thought today was a good day to quote Kurt Vonnegut. So, off I searched. I found this great quote which made me chuckle a bit, so, of course I had to share it with you. You’ll forget it when you’re dead, and so will I. When I’m dead, I’m going to forget everything —…

Not many things bring me as much joy as posting the daily quote and photo here. This post is my 500th. Thanks for sticking around and here’s to another 500!!
This “photo a day” thing has really caused be to stop and look around, it’s caused me to think about what I’m seeing and how I can share them with you. This photo had me staring at the frame for a while, when I took the photo I was pretty pleased.
This photo was taken of the grated surface of the Hawthorne Bridge deck. While the colors are modified, the interesting thing I find about this photo is just it’s random nature of it.
Today’s photo of the day allowed me to be a little creative. I just took a photo I had in my photostream and edited it in the negative to see what it would look like. I thought it was great for today’s weather in Portland.. 🙂
I thought I would build on today’s earlier post on Optimism by hoping that I lit a little bit of fire within some of you.
