I love the rain. I love how clear it makes the air. And, in Oregon, we get plenty of it. Tomorrow is the 4th of July, which means, the rain is about to leave the area for the 60 days of summer. Time to break out the air conditioner. 🙂 Let the rain kiss you….
A walk across the Hawthorne Bridge at night provided this great photo, and with a little photo-editing, I made it a little more artistic. I hope you enjoy it! 🙂
This photo is from the fountain in front of the Standard Insurance Building in Portland, Oregon. I’ve always admired this fountain and found in interesting as it’s a guy and two girls, and the guy is reaching for… something..
This “photo a day” thing has really caused be to stop and look around, it’s caused me to think about what I’m seeing and how I can share them with you. This photo had me staring at the frame for a while, when I took the photo I was pretty pleased.
A great photo from the Portland International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park.
A picture of Portland’s Willamette river from the Eastbank Esplanade. Just though the bushes. 🙂
The Hawthorne Bridge, on a sunny day, and the mechanism that makes it lift. Just thought the color balance was interesting. I hope you think so, too! A little red, white and blue to brighten your day.
This photo, from the east side of the Willamette river. There’s an awful lot a muck in there…
I’m a fan of Portland Bridges, as you’ve seen from other pictures. This is the Fremont Bridge in Portland, Oregon. With a nice soft focus filter on it.
Today’s photo of the day is from a walk though Portland yesterday. The summer sun is out, blue skies everywhere and this cool reflection from the barbed wire.
