This photo was taken on a walk through Mt. Tabor Park in Portland. This long line of stairs reminds me that you still have to take them one, maybe two, at a time. You just have to start climbing, though.
This rainbow was from earlier this morning. A nice way to walk into work. We’ve had some weird weather in Portland this July.
This photo, taken from the Hawthorne Bridge, gives a really great shot of Portland at dusk, Portland Spirit, Salmon Street Springs and the Willamette River.
I love alterations! Also, I love fountains and this one in downtown Portland is one of my favorite. When not full of people it’s quite peaceful and scenic. Enjoy!

Collective house by Alberta This was spotted on Craigslist. Can you see the discrimination?
Portland, Oregon’s Pioneer Courthouse. After the remodel, which took forever, it looks amazing at night.
Today’s quote is inspired by the World Domination Summit going on in Portland, Oregon. I’m not there but many of my friends are and I’m watching from afar. Seems like such a powerful thing, to live in the moment, and it’s maybe the hardest thing to do. Welcome to Portland WDSers! I have always been…
I love the rain. I love how clear it makes the air. And, in Oregon, we get plenty of it. Tomorrow is the 4th of July, which means, the rain is about to leave the area for the 60 days of summer. Time to break out the air conditioner. 🙂 Let the rain kiss you….
